On a subject totally unrelated to the click languages of Africa . . . did anyone else get the feeling that this scene is a just little too close for comfort . . . even for the best of friends?

Yeah, I noticed they were even closer to each other this time. I thought the "face to face" couldn't get more awkward... I was wrong, haha.

Growling in a posed photo is one thing.

Full out singing for video is another all together.

My guess is that they each sang the song separately and then the video was cut together to make them appear to sing super close together. I don't know how you'd sing that close without laughing at the awkwardness otherwise! I thought it was funny.
In fact, if you look at this screenshot you can see white lights reflecting in Rhett's eyes and Link's glasses. I think if they were really that close to one another and looking straight ahead you'd see the other person's face reflected instead of light... right?
