What's even better is that I found my husband eating a piece of this cake when I got home from work. (I put it back into the fridge after eating my bite in what can only be explained as a fit of cicada crunch fueled insanity)
He asked me what the funky crunchy pieces were and why I had a Jon Secada cake in the fridge. When I told him he was really grossed out and stopped eating. But he said it was pretty good. I guess that goes to show that either I am a total wussy, or the grossness was 99% mental.
