First of all, Happy New Year. =]
At first, I wanted to take the approach that the New Years Resolution song illustrates (Raise the bar to walk effortlessly underneath), but I decided to change that. My New Years Resolution is to write a blog every day (unless an emergency occurs...or I don't have internet for some reason) starting today. I know I've been laxing on that for the past couple weeks, but I will try my best to write a review of a video every day. (Although I write this at 11 pm where I live, so I know it will technically be the 2nd, rather than the 1st day of the year...Just count the blogs I write after midnight as the day before, m'kay? ^^)

Anyway.
I know this happened several years ago, but I'm so relieved that Link and his family is safe (However, at the time I had no idea who Rhett and Link were, and wasn't really concerned with their safety), and I hope neither Link, nor Rhett is ever that close to anything that dangerous and life-threatening EVER AGAIN. ^^
And I can't say I remember anything about this in the news (which I never watch), but I know that I have a terrible memory and wouldn't remember if I had seen it. x]

Like I've said in previous blog(s?), I prefer the videos where Rhett and Link are singing or making a video by themselves, and not as much their videos with interviews of other people (Except Allison Fishman, while they make food, but that's not really an interview. P=). However, Jimmy Sauls's story reminds me of something that happened to me not long ago that I suppose I'll share. x]

Last month, it was Christmas (all month, and some of the month before, apparently, according to many department stores xD), and my brother was selling Christmas wreaths. His teacher bought one, and my brother couldn't deliver it on the bus for some reason, so we had to go to her house and drop it off. Well, I went with my brother and dad (We were going to Wal-mart after we delivered it) as we looked around for her neighborhood, then house, which took a total of about 15-20 minutes to find, My brother got out of the car on this very windy, slightly rainy night, and went to her front porch. While he was there, my dad and I were talking, and suddenly we heard a loud BOOM and saw a flash of green light. My dad flipped out, and ducked like he thought we were being shot at, and I started laughing at him for it. (Yeah, I know it was mean of me. x]) I was thinking that someone shot off some fireworks, but then I realized that it was late, windy, and raining, not great for fireworks...and the fact that there wasn't really anything to shoot off fireworks for. xDD Then I realized that the power went out throughout the entire neighborhood. My dad told me that a transformer blew up right behind our car in the construction area. (This is when I started to feel bad that I laughed at my dad. xD) And this is a new, recently built neighborhood, and a transformer blew with just a little rain and wind?? Anyway, my brother returned, got in the car, and we were off to Wal-Mart, laughing about what had happened, and hoping that the people in the neighborhood got their power back soon. x]
I hope you liked my long, drawn-out story, and now back to the review. xDD

Jimmy's sign was pretty good, but it needed some glitter or reflective tape...something shiny. ^^
I LOL'd at Rhett's randomness that Oprah had something to do with the explosion. x]
...Unless that was an actual theory that someone came up with and other people believe. xDD
I also love how Jimmy played along with them, he must have been Link's neighbor.
It's so great how they can get all these people to play along with their "schemes," a skill which I, unfortunately, do not have. I don't even think my friends want to help me, half of the time. (I unintentionally alienate people, but I already knew that. x])
Gah, Rhett looks so tall in this video...But I guess he always looks super tall, because he is super tall. x] I didn't realize people say "y'all" in North Carolina, I figured that was too far north, but I've been proven wrong. xD
I really hope Rhett's "insightful" question (and Link's comment) made it on the news, that would have been GREAT. xDDD
And I also hope that girl is taking notes on the vice president's response to Rhett's question. ^^

I'm not really sure why they posted basically the same video twice, but because they are pretty much the same, I think my work here is done. See you tomorrow (Or later today, perhaps?). ^^
