The End of an Era; Or, Emotional Attachment to Silly Things

I have had my maroon John Lennon, wire-framed eyeglasses since I was fifteen years old. The prescription had never been updated. I switched to contacts my sophomore year of college (so 4 years later...) but I kept them as backup.

Well, they've stopped being corrective lenses and have since become a fashion statement. Only, a fashion statement accompanied by headaches. :( So I guess it's really time to say goodbye to them...

Now I can get some new frames!!! Yaaaaaaay! I know I want plastic and I know I want thicker... but what color? Hmmmm.
