My Mythical Journey to Butt Drugs for Road Trip Meet-Up

I woke up at about 5:30am to my mom comming into my room saying we could not go because she was ill.  I begged her to take me,  I told her i would do anything.   Still I could not go.  I was very sad because Rhett and Link make it so I can go through a school day of being picked on, laughed at, hit and what not  and come home and watch people make me laugh.  So at about 6:30am I went into my mom's room, and  begged her to take me.  She had lost her voice, but she was able to get out, "come get me in a half hour and see how I feel." After talking with some mythical beasts on mythical skype, some prayed for me to go (as I prayed myself) and a half our later mom was getting out of bed and we were out the door at 8:15am.  I was getting a little worried though because it takes an hour to get to Corydon, and mom needed to get gas, batteries, and a perminant marker. So finally were on the road, and its 50 miles to butt drugs, going a little over the speed limit..and it was 8:45 mythical gathering was at 9.  So at about 10 miles to go I get a tweet saying, and I quote: "WRONG  TURN! Butt Drugs at 9:38am.  Take that as you will." by LinkLamont.  I. Was. Estatic.  Sure we got there  at 9:20, but I'm kinda glad they made a wrong turn.  When they got there (about 9:40) they were trying to find  a place to park their  moving truck  and van.  They parked in the back (rear) and walked in.  The first words out of Link's mouth was: "May I have some coffee." The boys looked tired even though its only been two days, I wouldn't blame them.   So after Link got his  coffee, and Rhett had the camera set up, the boys seemed to be  happy to be  back at Butt Drugs.  We made a line for giving them our "Piece of America" and to take pictures and autographs. Mom wasn't feeling to well, but she took pictures for me and video taped nonetheless.  When it became my turn, I got really nervus.  But I kept my cool.  The funny thing is, when I was next, the gift I was  going  to give  them was this wall that got bigger and smaller.  Apparently Rhett knew what it was imeditly because he took it out of  my hands before Icould say one word and started playing with it.  Putting my head into it, and then making it bigger and  smaller.  I told them I had a  gift for Link (a drawing) and I mailed Rhett his gift,(my favorite Guitair pick). Rhett said they haven't opened mail in the past few weeks, but he was excited to get my gift.  When I pulled out my gift for Link, a big smile came over his face and he goes "thats from Chia Lincoln, I love it.  That  picture should be put onto a T-shirt.  I think people  would like it." So then I asked them to sign my guitair.  They got a  little confused at first because it was left handed, but they figured it out.  Then when  it came time for the picture I asked: "Could I give you guys a hug?" Link's reply to that was: "yeah! Sure! Come here and I'll give you a hug." So my mom took the picture and  after that Rhett goes: "Aww now come on, you need a REAL hug!" and he put down my guitair, bent down so that we were eye level, and gave me a great big hug like an  Uncle would give to a Neice or Nephew.  When that was over  I said thank you to both of them and we walked out of butt drugs.  Mom still wasn't feeling to well, so we drove to the  doctor.  She got a  shot and I drove her home.  Even though it was a bad day for my mom, This was the best day of my life.  For I not only got to meet my hero's in person, but I also got to give them my special one of a  kind hugs.  I will never forget this day.  Thank  you Rhett and Link.
