Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!
Hello Beasts!
Life is moving along swiftly, and things are looking up.
I would like to invite all of you to the Trail Dance Film Festival in Duncan, Oklahoma to see the premiere of the film, Broken Boy, in which I play the lead role. The film screens at 2:00 pm. For information about the festival, click on this text.
By the way, you can watch the official trailer for Broken Boy right here:
In other news, another film I'm in, Home Run, comes out nationwide (US) on April 19th. It would be awesome if you went to go see the film, and then told everyone how awesome I am (especially on IMDB). You can watch my performance here:
(I know, I'm being so demanding)
But since we're talking about IMDB, I have a page on IMDB. Go check it out and press "like". You can find me by clicking this Rhett.
In other news, I'm still editing the web series. I'll post up a link to the first episode once it's done.
You Beasts are awesome! Thanks for supporting me as I take on this crazy career.

Funny that you mention Swamp People, as Louisiana is what's on my radar. I won't go into all of the economic details, but if you want to be a working actor, the swamp state is where you want to be.
I'll put out a new update very soon, I have a lot of new material, plus some announcements to make.
Too bad that you weren't able to make it, Gumbo. Broken Boy has been sent to quite a few festivals across the US, so hopefully it will make it into something near you.
Trail Dance went very well, and I was able to make some good contacts. I was able to also see Dancing in the Chamber, a film that I am also in, and found that I am heavily featured in the movie (it left with several awards).
I am in serious talks for several films, but we'll see how those turn out. In this industry I don't count anything until I'm actually on set.
I'll probably post more on another "Life Update", but for now know that I'm working full-time in order to raise money to move to Louisiana in order to keep acting in film and television. And if there are any Beasts out there who would want to just give money to that cause I take checks...
From the recent additions to your IMDB page (August: Osage County & The Jogger) it appears that bigger and brighter things are in the near future. Until then, the countdown is on to April 19th and the national release of Home Run.
Hope all went well with your festival screening today. I got away from my committment meeting earlier than usual, and at 12:15PM was sitting in front of a CiCi's pizza trying to calculate the drive time from Grapevine, TX to Duncan, OK - - - according to Mapquest, and if I could have maintained maximum allowed speed limit, still would have missed the showing by half an hour.
I see that the deadline for submissions for DIFF is already past, but hopefully you'll make it to a Dallas film fest in the near future. http://www.dallasfilm.org/for-filmmakers/submit-your-film/
Aww... so sad that you won't be making it up to Duncan, Gumbo. The film will probably show at a few festivals in Texas, hopefully I see you there!
