A Mythical Beast Pen
Awhile ago I made an Artful Pen with a unicorn on it. I've made a variety of Artful Pens that I've sold online at Lilly Bug Boutique, my online Etsy store. Someone once suggested making a unicorn pen, so I made one along with a matching unicorn magnet. I thought that fellow "mythical beasts" might enjoy seeing a pen with the infamous "unicorn" in the Rhett & Link Kommunity. Enjoy! :-)

I used polymer clay for my original piece and then made a silicone mold of it. Then I used a two part resin to cast it with. And lastly, I hand paint it and glaze it. Now with the mold, I can make multiple pieces, although sometimes after casting a piece there is still a lot of clean up to do. I enjoy sculpting with polymer clay and another medium called Apoxie Sculpt. It's soooo much fun! :-)
