A little rant..sorry, I'm upset.

I don't have an issue with people judging me about the way I am, I honestly don't care.. but when people start to try and use evidence or religion to justify what they're saying, trying to prove what I believe, wrong. That's when I'm upset. It rarely happens, but yesterday, it happened.. In the middle of chat no less.. I was attempting to the best of my ability to be welcoming, open, and accepting, but I can only give out as much as I receive. You can't be open and accepting to a sealed clam who won't open up and share anything. I think the Kommunity is great at opening clams and showing the pearls within, but we need a little co-operation when it comes to welcoming. I was ridiculed (once again) for my sexual orientation based on religion alone, and this is something I do not take lightly. I don't wish to disprove, attack, or insult anybody's religion by saying this, but people that believe that somebody elses lifestyle is wrong, judged solely on what a group of people think, and not their own beliefs. I think those people are close-minded, and will never truly get along in this Kommunity until they open up a bit.. This is purely my opinion. Newcomers really should be more accepting, because it's hard to accept someone that does not accept us.

I'm sorry for the rant, I'm just sick of constant judgemental attitude, I'm here to make friends, not enemies. I think I've done pretty well here so far, and I plan to continue my efforts.
