5 Foot 7..."ish" Isn't Short Right?

I had to go shopping at the store today and while got into the store just fine, leaving was a little bit more challenging. Why? Because when I went to leave through the automatic doors, I walked up and the doors didn't open. My nose might as well have been touching the doors and it still wouldn't open. Took a step back and they were still closed. What did I do? I waved the box of cards I had bought above my head to trigger the sensor.
