1. A few hours I was thinking from 1 to 3 or 4 at most.
2. Nothing except for what you have to pay in gas to get here and if you wanted to get anything for lunch or whatever.
3. I was thinking handy park which is of course a local park so there wont be a need for any special permissions to be there.
4. I really haven't come up with that yet but I would advise bringing an extra pair of clothes bc I was thinking of a water balloon war if the weather is nice and it should be, I was also trying to think of some games and different activities and what not.
You are very welcome I'm always happy to answer any questions anyone has.
@ Zephanie - - I saw that you are considering the Piedmont, MO MythiCon event but your question about info was posted on the open group page, so just in case the local event host doesn't see it to reply here is some background which might give you an idea.
First and foremost, each of the meetings the past 2 years have been "family friendly" (with the exception of the 2014 NYC group who, unfortunately, ran into some rather loud protestors which dampered the mood) and I would expect no less this time around.
The location is not yet finalized, but I know that Ariel is leaning towards an outdoor location. Most state parks do charge per vehicle for day use, while city parks don't. The specifics about the Piedmont event could be better answered by your host: Ariel (The Snow White Wolf)
