Okay, I finished decorating my wooden box. I decided not to put the mehndi designs on the top. I'm considering not scraping the paste off if it, but I'm concerned that it will chip off. If anyone knows of a good wood sealer, it would be very much appreciated. I'm hoping that a good sealant will protect the henna paste from chipping.

I'm hoping to give this to them at VidCon, if I get a chance to see them.

Love it, I know you worry about the henna chipping. My dad has done hardwood floors for years, so I do know a bit about wood as you can imagine. Nothing stands up to polyurethane! it can also kill brain cells if breathed in for long periods of time. It seals very well. I wonder if it will be to strong for your box though.

Hope you find an answer soon, because it would be a shame to see that box go to waste.

Good idea! Maybe I should make a few clay cats to put inside?... Who cares that they don't like cats... XD

Ooh, that's too cool! You should put things inside of it, too.
