okay but I've been thinking we should rap it up tomorrow because then we're into Thursday and we all need to be promoting the show.  So let's do one last round and see if that does it.  Your personal notes to Ellen producers will likely be more effective than our small twitter posse :)

The "trend" part may not matter as long as someone at The Ellen Show sees the tweets and decides to make a phone call. You might be right about R&L not helping because of the contest thing. Personally, I decided to do take on the Twitter thing on top of the weekly promos I've been releasing, I wasn't doing this twitter thing to win a call. So I'd be happy to raffle the call away if it helps!
I think the problem is that a lot of the beasts I've chatted with just don't have Twitter.
Either way, I'm ready to carry on this Twitter blitz through the week and I'll still send TheEllenShow an email or tweet everyday once this week is through just because I truly think they should be on her show. Hopefully the simple dedication of a handful of supportive fans means more than a trending hashtag and Ellen will get them on the show. :)

P.S. I hope you're right about the phone call Donna! ;)

Just gonna go ahead and post this and I can change the win part if there are objections to giving away the call.  (Erin you'll get a call anyway XD so no loss.)

yes I have a graphic with the other swamp picture but wanted to discuss an idea first and I had to leave.

Back now :)   it may be that R&L don't want to get involved since it's supposed to be a fan thing and there's a prize attached.  Maybe as with the dance video, we offer to have a drawing for the phone call should we win.  

Maybe then R&L will be okay with getting involved since their RT wouldn't favor any one person's entry (?!).  Without a RT, I don't see any of this happening.  We need hundreds of people (likely thousands) in order to trend.

If we're going for 8 tomorrow just let me know and I'll update the original Ellen thread and create a new graphic (unless you've already done that) :)
