I used a pen for this. It was like drawing on paper, except I could zoom and edit it all a lot more.

Awesome idea! I really like it! I can't believe you drew this on your iPad! I can draw very good by hand, but I draw extremely terrible on my phone, so doing this on your iPad is very impressive!
