@bridget: yes, that's an episode. i can't remember the name or anything but i do remember the storyline. i think it was a christmas special...it was about a scrooge character, and the doctor goes back in time to change this guy's childhood to make him nicer. it gets complicated after that, and then they end up hanging out with a girl every christmas eve.
