Comment by Juhi (Swarnix) on July 4, 2016 at 9:41am: I can understand a bit of Indonesian because I was born in Jakarta and picked up some of the language there, I can read a bit of Arabic because it was compulsory to learn it where I lived, I understand a bit of Hindi because I learnt it as a second language in school where I used to live and also understand most of what people say in Sindhi because my grandma speaks mostly in that language.
Also, I had to learn French for a year but all I can remember is 'une gomme', which I think means eraser, Je m'apelle, Bonjour, the days of the week and numbers 1 to 14...

Learnt Japanese for a year

I have studied different languages for years now such as German, French and Spanish, but know very little because I neither have anyone near me who is also interested in learning them nor do I know any foreign-language speakers. If I were to read a simple text, I can decipher its meaning; but, I think my skills are limited to that of a small child. I really don't know what questions to ask as far as learning from another person, which is really important. But my biggest problem is creating my own sentences.
