In Japanese high schools, the second button from the top of a male's uniform is often given away to a female he is in love with, and is considered a way of confession. The second button is the one closest to the heart and is said to contain the emotions from all three years attendance at the school. This practice was apparently made popular by a scene in a novel by Daijun Takeda.

Harrison Ford gave up on acting early on to become a carpenter. He later met George Lucas when Lucas asked him to fix something for him. He then told Lucas he had been an actor and they became friends, eventually landing him some of his major roles.

The Chevy Nova was a very popular car in its day, but never had much success in Mexico. Then some marketing genious finally realized that very poor sales volume was probably attributed to the fact that "No va" in Spanish actually translates as "It does not go"
