Hey, guys! I'm really new here, this is my first group and I only joined about ten minutes ago. Any suggestions?

Well, i'm going to a public school next year as a 9th grader and i'm gonna admit i'm a little nervous.  The reason that i'm going is because they won't let me play sports their unless I take a few classes at the school so we thought it would be best if I just went there full time.  There's plenty of pros and cons to going there but i'm exited and a little scared at the same time.  I do know quite a few kids  there that are in my class so that's a score.  But i'm really gonna miss being that kid in Wal-Mart you see every Thursday at 12:00 running errands with his Mom and little brother.  Things got really weird one day when I saw another kid my age in Wal-Mart on a school day, we just looked at each other and walked away.  I've had so much fun being a homeschooler that I don't want to give it up but at the same time i'm exited to see how these next few years are gonna go.

Hey! I'm a fellow homeschooler (obvi)! I have been homeschooled grade 5-12 and I just graduated this year! Yay! I've been a diligent R&L watcher since they started GMM and I am a proud mythical beast! Pleasure to meet you all. <3

What I've learned as a girl that has been homeschooled since first grade is that not even the greatest or the most qualified teacher in the world  can replace the knowledge and authority a mom and a dad have. At first my parents chose to homeschool my twin sister and me because of our life style (we are always moving from one place to another)... but as the years went by, their decision began to have a deeper and more serious meaning.  Parents these days are losing the importance and the authority they used to have,  and it's either because they don't want the responsibility or  because the government doesn't want to give it to them.  But the truth is that no one will ever love you as much as your mother and/or father do, and no one can ever replace the God given authority and love you have for your children! I truly believe that a father and a mother have  something so special and so valuable that it saddens me greatly how we are forgetting it (especially the young generation). Don't forget it mom! Don't forget it dad!! Don't forget it daughter and son! Let us not forget!!!

I graduated from a homeschool in NC! Rhett and Link's Homeschoolers song was my first experience with them, and it was AWESOME! A couple of my friends were offended, but that just proved to me that they weren't fun people to hang around with, lol.

Welcome, wemythicalhomeschoolers!  A lot of their stuff is educational whether they intended it to be or not!  I've used several videos while teaching Dave Ramsey's personal finance class at co-op.  Fun times!

Hey everyone! We are a homeschooling family too. I use Rhett and Link as bribery for the kids to get their work done. "Finish your math work, and you can watch today's GMM"

Believe it or not Rhett and Link's "Homeschooler's Song" was my first introduction to Rhett and Link!

And I was most happily homeschooled until 10th grade.

Yes, I'm sure they're home schooling.  I met some of their family through home school co-op.
