I'm just hoping that all of the bids on these items are real and not just some kids goofing around as they think it's another R&L gag like the "As Seen on GMM" items.  If not, Mom's PayPal account is going to get a big surprise coming up in about 10 days once the auction ends.

$390 is a bit much to pay for one (1) useless souvenir aged walkie-talkie-phone, and I've already got a nice cordless drill . . . but, since it's for a good cause, maybe I'll just throw down a bid or buy some items listed or make a direct and immediate contribution outright at the Action Against Hunger eBay page: http://givingworks.ebay.com/charity-auctions/charity/action-against...

Even higher now.. I admit I nearly fell off my seat at the amount of cash people are bidding. I mean great cause but I am also concerned for parents wallets :)

They were over $400 when I last checked. My husband does construction and was surprised that someone would pay that much for a drill, especially used. I had to explain, then he understood, sort of! Wow!

Around $800 a piece now. Under 39 bids total. A few mythical beasts are serious about shelling it out. The phone seems to be doing better than the drill, but who doesn't want a personalized phone message?
