It's a little hard to figure out my answer when the question is put in this context. But If you asked me:

"Would you rather be forced to smile all the time or be forced to frown all the time?"

then I would probably go with the frowning because frowning is a default facial expression and easier to do constantly. If I was forced to smile all the time, then I would feel like I'm stuck in a clown's body or something, and it would feel like I'm in some endless purgatory of smiles. Plus, everyone would think I have some facial disorder. And when someone asks me if I just got a facial disease, I'd have to say "Nope. I just thought I'd SMILE all the time :) ...nothing wrong with that, right :D? :)

I would rather be stuck with the first option, and for this reason:
Firstly, it takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile..and therefore would be a less difficult facial expression to maintain. Secondly, the appearance of ones face directly effects the way they are treated by others and also indirectly effects others emotions and feelings. If i were to always walk into a room with a frown, i would always appear less approachable as a person and reflect an an emotion related to possibly anger . This would in turn cause others to feel less happiness and create a world less than satisfying wherever the frowning person went. This would then effect the frowning person's emotions in a negative way, whether that is their feelings or not.

I agree on the point that if you're stuck with a smile you'll make other people happy.

But the thing about the muscles is wrong, it takes 11 to frown and 12 to smile.

But smiles are always better, so I do agree, it's better to share a little happiness with the world, than spreading frowns.

However it would be bad being stuck with a smile, it's hard to be serious with a silly smile on your face...
