RhettandLinKommunity

Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

So, I know there's a "How did you find Rhett&Link?" discussion, but I don't think this one has been created yet. I want to know what first introduced you to the world of live Internetainment. By that I mean: What was the first RhettandLinKast Live you ever saw? Have you been here since Show 1? Or did you stumble upon the RhettKast last week on Ustream?

For me, my first live Kast was the "Back to School Show" from September 2008. I've been a faithful Kast viewer ever since. :)

There first show (aside from the "test" show) back when they atarted it on Friday afternoons before they went to Thursday nights. I used to work evenings then so the day show worked betetr for me though I used to watch it later in the evening from work (one of the benefits of being "the boss")
My first Kast was the Phobia Show - the first show of 2009. I think I've only missed one since... the whole family looks forward to Thursday nights!
My first Kast Live was the "Mythical Beast Broken Arm Mouse Poll Show" a few weeks ago. I saw my first R&L vid about a week and a half after the hiatus began, and was immediately hooked, so it was a looooooong summer, happily seasoned with some vintage Kasts, but mostly I haunted their YT channel, catching up... Unfortunately, I couldn't tune in for the first Kast back, but since then, I have enjoyed Thursday evenings and been ridiculously beastly!
My first LiveKast was the "Debates and Questions" show, earlier this year. It's so hard to believe I only discovered Rhett and Link this spring! I quickly watched all their videos and Kast shows and now eagerly wait for more. I can't imagine life before the Kommunity, or as my hubby calls it, "BK" (Before Kommunity).
I honestly don't remember my first live Kast, but I do remember the first one I watched after the fact... ok, don't remember if it was first one ever, but the first one I remember, I guess... was the andLinKast where Shepherd was born, and Rhett was out. But I don't remember which one was my first live one.
The first show I saw live was the Bad Breath Kast, Dec 11, 2008. I even got my first chat shoutout on my first live kast, at about 3:57 in! That kast was on the last day of my semester after I was done with finals, so it was the first one I was available to see at that time.

The first show I watched recorded after I became a fan was the Fashion Statement and Curl Show on November 6th, though. This was right after I'd discovered the R&L Channel and watched the "Essential Rhett and Link", and I remember being surprised by the Southern accents. I guess the videos I'd watched had them toned down (specifically the Grammy's vid).
My first Live Kast was the ShamWOW Test Show. I had only discovered R&L about a week before, but I was between jobs at the time, so I had already taken a good chunk out of their work by that Thursday. I've been hooked since!
My first kast was the Craigs list prank call kast. Ever since then, the highlight of my week starts on Thursday night at 8:30. :D I started watching after i came across the shamwow song on youtube.
First Kast was the intro to Supernote. I was one of the call in people who attempted to extend my note. Epic fail.
Wait . . . there's a Live Kast?

Honestly, I've yet to watch the show live. I've been a fan for about a year now - - my 22yr old son could already recite nearly every song in the GART series and just had to show me The BBQ Song before he died laughing - - but I always wait and listen to the playback on Friday mornings instead of listening to tunes while I'm working. This morning, since last night's Kast was cancelled, it's back to Paul Thorn and Marc Boussard.

Listening to the latest in Internetainment while creating a multi-layered Excel spreadsheet goes together like peanut butter and pickles - - not everyone has a tast for it but if it's your thing then nothing can beat it!
I've been there since the test show!!! Back then, I used to be known as Quebec_Max!
This is kinda sad, but I've only ever seen one Kast live (Not including the thing they did with EdBassMaster), which was the last one they did before going on hiatus. ("Bent Objects" winners, I guess.)
I haven't even been able to watch the Whiletheywereout Kasts live (actually now that I think about it, maybe I saw the first one live?), but I always watch them the next day, or the day after that. x]
