Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

Hey Link (and other beasts that will read this)

I was poked by friends on Tumblr to create an account here to ask - post this. I wanted an account here for a while so thought why not.

To put it plainly there are a few of us on Tumblr who have been growing increasingly more concerned with your hand tremor. We know it may sound stupid to some people but we are getting worried that we are noticing it more and more in episodes. It seems to be easier to notice it and a few people even said they have notice your head twitch from time to time.

We hope you are not angry with us asking if you are okay. Please understand we are not wanting to pry into your personal life, but we cannot help be concerned that when we look back through your videos that it seems to us as viewers that it's getting worse. Perhaps linked to your bad shoulder?

To other mythical beasts, we are not claiming that Link is sick, but merely asking due to recent observations and out of love and concern for one of our favorite internetainers.

Thank you

Don't worry about people thinking you are nosing into personal life, it's kind that you are concerned.

I've noticed this a bit too, (I saw the conversation on Tumblr and went and watched a few videos). Could be due to more close up shots though.
I'm sure he is fine.

Yeah, Rhett pointed it out a couple of times too. Personally, I'm not really concerned since one of my best friends has what are called "essential tremors", which look the same as Link's and are actually benign. And also, the fact that his best friend pokes fun at him for it also makes me think it's not serious, I mean of course he would know it if it was? So yeah, those are my two cents! (Or should I say "my Bitcoin"?)

My comfort in the issue also comes with the light hearted pokes of fun from Rhett about it. If it were serious they would discuss/explain it as a team or not mention it at all. But, guys, I'm 37 and the older I get the more unsteady I get, especially if I've had coffee and I'm trying to concentrate. The head twitching is probably discomfort from his shoulder. It's nice that we are seeing genuine concern and not stirring gossip or misinformation.Keep it real and it will be perceived as love.
I think they've mentioned before that Link drinks a lot of coffee and that makes him wired up. Which I think is why his hands shake. I haven't noticed any head twitching.

ive not noticed it, lol maybe its just a thing people with glasses have (i wear glasses and have hand tremors too) im sure Link is ok, maybe hes trying with the powerful force that is is mind to stop frequently adjusting his glasses...in which case his will power must be strong coz i cant help it

ok update, i think Link is feeling self conscious about the tremors because ive now noticed that he hides his hands either with his laptop or under the desk or he starts to fiddle or just constantly moving them so you cant tell or see his tremors...tbh if i didn't read this post i wouldn't have known

I think he finds other ways to hide it too, I noticed he fiddles with his wedding band a lot or will keep his hands on something the entire time. So I agree with this.

I was watching the episode about super human strengh and couldn't help but notice he took his ring off and played with it and it had me thinking about this post because of the new AirHeads challenge if he has a tremor the weight of the plates wouldn't have helped and that would have given Rhett an advantage
I got shaky hands myself. I notice when I do stuff. I also can't walk straight but that's because I day dream to much;) your heart is in the right place

I realize I'm replying really late.Anyhow.

I've noticed to, even very recently. He plays with stuff and such. I do the same thing. I find myself playing with things to keep my hands occupied... and to make it less obvious that they're shaking.

I'm sure he's fine. Rhett cares enough not to make jokes if he weren't. I think it actually is cool because it reminds me he's human and he's not perfect.

(I know I keep referring to myself but it's for sake of example, because in personality I am a lot like Link.)

Some people are naturally tense/wired, like myself, and like Link as he's mentioned before. It's something you get used to, and he seems pretty used to it.

Your concern is good, and your observing skills are brilliant.

I'm replying late to this as well..this isn't related to Link's hands (I actually hadn't noticed his tremor) but I have noticed that he looks really tired in the past few weeks, not his usual bubbly Link self..juggling work, kids, spouse, life etc. can be so taxing..I just hope he is taking time out to take care of himself too.

It’s great to see that so many people care about Link and their well-being. While it’s important to respect their privacy, it’s also understandable to be concerned about their health. Perhaps a gentle check-in or a direct message could be a good way to express your linkedin reviews concerns without being too intrusive.
