Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!
Hi there!
Is there a project idea out there somewhere for Link's birthday this year? (for June 1, 2016)
I haven't seen a thread posted yet here on the forum about it. And I know a lot of people are busy with school and things, so we probably don't have to do something as big as the book last year, which was really cool, but maybe something else that'll be manageable to put together and send easily and just as special!
If anyone has any ideas, let's discuss, maybe in a group or private messaging (so Link doesn't see this just in case he wants to get spoiled, lol). :) What's the best method here?
Gonna go ahead and throw some ideas I have:
Of course, people will probably send him birthday gifts to their studio via mail, so I'm just thinking of something extra we can do online here for him. :)
If there's something already out there in the works, please let me know! I'd love to be involved this year!
Suggestions?
*Recent discussion of putting recorded noises & phrases he's said into a sampler, keyboard, soundboard, or portable device.
*Update May 3:
I've made a group for this project. All would like to be involved, please join and discuss!
Ideal Deadline May 17 2016. Thank you!

I know someone who might be able to make a Link themed puzzle!
That sounds awesome!
id send myself to him *ahem* wut
I'm honestly terrible lol
id probably draw something intricate or learn to make a youtube music video thing like 'Penguin' does (bless her and her vids also btw)
if I cant please him with a well thought-out gift I can at least show that I appreciate, well, him...and everything Rhett & Link. but I haven't a clue how or what . something arts and craftsy maybe? or dare to send them something? *gasp
I wish I could do the art that she has been blessed with :)
I know, I often think about sending them something cool or doing something artsy, but I either don't have time or get distracted and try something, but it turns out crappy. It's difficult. And I want to do something really unique if I do anything.
Maybe sending a letter explaining your appreciation would be nice for now, unless you come up with something else. You can make your own card & draw little pictures! They've gotten stuff from little kids before so you could draw stick figures & they'd be grateful! :)
wew *sweats anxiously* the time is Neal (get it? near. neal. ok bye ill stop)
I like the idea of sending something with quotes or funny noises and voices... I wish we could find something better than what that website that Gumbo showed us offered. I can't believe they don't have a horse.
