Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

Most of us have shown at least one Rhett and Link video to friends or family, and their response is often pretty funny. (At least with me, anyway.)
What was the first thing you showed someone else?
What was their response to the video you showed them?

For me, the first video I ever made my mom watch was One Man's Trash. (She had watched a few of their kommercials, but this was the first one Iactually made her watch.)
The first thing she said while watching it was "His eyes are really big," after seeing this picture of Rhett.

Then yesterday, my sister was messing around on my computer while I had the Rhett and Link podcast up on iTunes. I don't remember which video she clicked on, but the first thing she did was point to Link and say "He's cute." xD

I thought this was pretty funny, and I'm sure y'all may have similar stories! ^^

First thing I showed to someone else? Probably the Facebook Song.. posted it on Facebook waaay back. Their response? Well, someone commented saying "This song defines my life". Or maybe the first video I showed someone else was a Seaborne and Roach episode, because that was the first CBE that I contributed in.

I brought my iPod out to recess one day, and my friends and I all crowded around watching R&L Podcasts. They loved the Velcro Song.
The first vid I ever saw was the fast food folk song.... my cousin showed it to me.. and I was like "what, these two guys just do this stuff for fun.. weirdos." Then they started singing and i was like "OMGWOW!" and then I was watching them all =) Until I learned they were from NC I thought that Rhett was a guy my sister had once dated... *cough* well not really he just kept asking her to go out (she never would) and I thought "wow, he has become much more attractive over these past couple of years." lol.
The first general response that anyone gives at watching an R&L video first time, in my experience, is that they laugh. :)
I think that's one of the main keys to their success: people relate so easily to their content.

Just showed my brother the Taco Bell song the other day. His first reaction. Well let's just say Hilarity Insued. I love showing people there vids. It is like a slice of a cake THAT HAS NEVER BEFORE BEEN DISCOVERED. But inside it is so delicious and chocolatey :P
I sent the T-Shirt War (the first one) to everyone I know in the entire universe. I even featured it prominently on my website for months. I still think it's the greatest thing on the internet, ever.

Well, when I shared it with close friends and family, I asked "Which one do you think I like best?" - meaning a shirt.

Everyone said "The one with glasses".

After I stopped laughing, I explained that I meant which shirt.

(The shirt that's on fire and, yes, I like Link slightly more. I can't like just one of these guys.)

Everyone I know likes them now. :) They say things like "Those guys are so hilarious... and CUTE!" (a verbatim response) They seem to brighten everyone's day.
Ahaha, I must add this!

My mom got a Facebook account a few months ago and she's still getting used to everything. Everything's new to her. She's like a baby. But anyway, yesterday, she was talking to my dad and she said, "People can tag you in pictures! And you might not want to be tagged, but once you are, everyone can see your embarrassing pictures, like the times when you are drunk at a party! And you can't do anything about it!" I pointed out that you can easily remove the tag and she looked like her mind was blown.

So I posted the Rhett & Link Kast about Facebook on her Facebook page. And her response was:

"I like it! Rhett's North Carolina drawl was slipping out a little. :-)"

She's easily distracted by accents.
I think the first one i shared was t-shirt wars.
