My game, Cool-B in Search of Floyd has just released! Check it out at:
http://www.solanimus.com

About the game:
One day when I was much younger, I was going to the state fair. The shuttle bus was extremely late, so my mom got a newspaper. In the paper, there was an advertisement for the adoption of two cats that had been together their entire lives: Cool-B and Floyd. In a few days, we decided to adopt them. Floyd was all grey and Cool-B was white and grey.

Sadly, Floyd became very sick. After helping him with medicine and fluids for months, the day came when we had to take him to the vet for the last time. It was one of the saddest moments of my life to see Floyd pass away. The memory of it still easily brings tears to my eyes.

After we buried Floyd, Cool-B of course changed. He would wander the house every night, making a certain meow, calling for Floyd, searching for him. I would often cry with him, missing Floyd.

Cool-B in Search of Floyd is a platforming game for PC. The game is different every time it's played, and while offering a challenge to even the best of players, has a very manageable learning curve. Only the arrow keys are required to play the game. I did everything in the development for this game. No one else worked on any part. I did the programming, design, artwork, music, etc. by myself.

The game features a lot of hand-drawn graphics (with filtered versions such as 8-bit and Van Gogh), a lot of music of different genres such as chiptune and Scottish fiddling, and the kind of "simplicity with depth" accessibility and challenge that's missing from many of today's games.

+Tons of Vibrant, hand-drawn graphics
+8-bit, Van gogh, Oil, and more inspired filtered versions of images
