Why I became a Mythical Beast and the meaning of my name...

I have always been a creative person...alot of people seem to loose the imagination they had as children but i never have (not yet anyway) and i hope i never do. When i was young i would always imagine myself as the captain of a ship or a lone traveler or hunter. Having brothers definately helped to fuel my creativity, inventing games and scenarios to play through. Into my adolescence I sort of suppressed my creativity a bit to try and fit in at school and not seem so out there but i quickly realized that it wasn't me. In middle school and high school i started to know who i was and what i liked and didn't, i had my best  friends and everything was golden.

Me and my friend mike started talking about alternate worlds like LotR and the HALO universe and like things and we decided to try and create our own world, one where we could immortalize ourselves through characters in an vast universe only limited by our imaginations. At first it was fun to think about having magical powers or being a major figurehead, but something in me decided that it wasn't enough. I read somewhere or saw something in a documentary somewhere (most likely in the special features on the limited edition DVD's) that JRR Tolkien wrote the stories he did to justify the world and languages he had created.

So i began my work...

I developed a language for a race of beings called Chreatians (pronounced like kreh-shin)

I gave them a world...

I gave them a religion...

I gave them a legend...

I gave them a mythos...

I created their solar system...

I gave birth to their galaxy...

I gave them an enemy...

I became their savior...

I do not clam any divine status, i am merely a vessel for this story, the writing writer. And I thank whomever gave me this imagination in the first place because I am never bored.
