What It Felt Like When I First Joined This Kommunity

So, I recently just became a Beast, just this year, actually. And though I've already heard of Rhett and Link online (on Tumblr and stuff), I never really got the chance to watch them, until just this January. The first GMM episode that I watched, was probably a Will-It one? (I can't really pin-point it, I've been trying to watch every GMM there is lmao) And it made me laugh, like, super duper hard. And it was a real, genuine laugh (which surprised me, I, at that point, didn't really get that entertained that easily). So at that point, my inner self was like, "Ooooh Amber, I know you're gonna be fangirling to them, because let's face it, they're attractive AND funny!". And it was trueeee! I did get addicted! I did become a fangirl! I did become part of this wonderful Kommunity!

And honestly it shocked me so much when I knew things about Rhett and Link.

When I knew they were as old as my parents (yes I'm a kid, fifteen to be exact), I was like, "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAT? How? Why? Who? What? When? They're tHAT ATTRACTIVE???? AND THEY'RE NEARLY FORTY????? WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?".

When I knew they were the people behind funny local commercials, I was COMPLETELY shocked. Because, you know those Top 20 Funniest things on TV? Yeah, their commercials were always there, and I swear those commercials are the foundation of my humor today.

When I knew that they had been friends since first grade, it made me smile. Because wow, their friendship is sooooo strong! I wish I have the same friendship as theirs.

But what struct me even more, is the relationship of Rhett and Link to the Mythical Beasts. It's just so dang strong! The love of the two parties are so dang strong, that (in my point of view, I've been to a frickton of fandoms) this is the best fandom/Kommunity ever.

And you know, as I am just a new fan, I was super surprised when I was welcomed to this Kommunity so nicely. It felt so nice. It felt like home.

People here are so welcoming and so nice! They treat you like family! They are so supportive! 

I never really had any friends in the past fandoms I was in, but here, I gained like a frickton of Internet friends.

This is why I love being in this Kommunity.

I swear I will never leave this beautiful Kommunity, ever.

To the people who made me feel home in this Komm, thank you so much for being my friends, thank you so much for being so supportive, thank you so much for accepting me here in this wonderful fandom, I love you all d00dz <3

To Rhett and Link, thank you for making my nights (GMM gets posted here every 6pm so) so mythical, so enjoyable, much more happier.
