Valentine

Happy Valentine's day everybody. Did you know Valentine was  Christian martyr? A martyr means someone to die for their belief. back then, the ruler of Valentine's country banned marriage. He thought that he needed more men for his army. So he thought that marriage was distracting men from the war. That is why he banned marriage. But Valentine knew that God wanted marriage. So, he married people secretly. But then, the ruler found out that he was marrying people. The ruler captured Valentine and said if he denied his faith he would let him free. But, Valentine wouldn't. ST. Valentine was executed for his faith on February the 14, 270 AD. Valentine is a perfect example that we should not give up the faith. Thank you for reading.
