Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!
Every year, I go to Guanajuato, Mexico over spring break to study Spanish. This is my... tenth? Eleventh? ...Twelfth time visiting? I think twelfth. No idea. ANYWAY, this year I decided I'd keep a diary thingy just because. Here we go!
So, this year, we actually had a relatively late flight at around noon. Considering we usually leave for the airport at five in the morning or so, this was unusual and we knew we'd be getting into town pretty late.
*Disclaimer: I'm not a photographer, and I used my phone for everything. Don't judge my pictures too harshly.*
We got to the airport at around 10:30 PM and didn't get into town until maybe eleven. Then we had to meet up with our (incredibly hospitable) host family and drag our luggage up miiiilllliiiooons of stairs. I don't mind though. Y'know, exercise or whatever. Our wonderful and amazing host dad carried my bag up a few flights. So, we finally got to the house, and immediately our awesome family gave us hot tea and homemade muffins. In Mexico, dinner is very light. Lunch is the big meal.
Of course, I promptly put away my phone after gathering evidence of them being FANTASTIC hosts. It's rude to have your phone out during meals, kids.
We were shown our room, and I have to say, I'm laying on the bed right now and my god it is comfortable.
The only thing I'm REALLY worried about is...
One mirror. I'm preparing myself for the mirror fights in the mornings.
