Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

i don't have a youtube channel (yet) so i can't comment on the latest video. it was epic, clever, and hilarious. loved it. except for this small detail. GMM today, you mentioned crushes from way back by name (and this is not the first time, either). you had fake wives in your video. i seriously feel bad for your real wives. ditto to what everyone else is saying - show us your wives, or at least how much you adore them! i bet they'd love that! that's way more endearing than talking about other gals.

Yeah one lady who had gone to their garage sale when they still lived in NC, had said (in the comments of her YouTube video) that she had met their wives. She asked them the same question, and it turns out they don't really want to be in any of the videos because they don't want to be premiered as "Rhett and Link's Wives." And I can understand that. Also, when Rhett and Link are talking about past girlfriends and such I believe it's all for laughs. PLUS  AT LEAST FOUR episodes, both of them go on a bit about their wives, so it's not like they're totally blowing them off. In fact I think they were kind of reminding each other during the show not to talk about their wives so much! haha!

BUT, if you want to see them in a video, I suggest watching the Facebook Song video and the Cornhole video closely. ;)

Oh, I definitely understand the anonymous thing. And certainly the post-birth discomfort, as well. I suppose that for me, as a girl in a committed relationship, I would not appreciate my significant other talking about past girls by name so fondly. So it was more the episode of GMM than the rap video. Don't get me wrong, though, I am still a huge fan of Rhett and Link! I'm pretty sure people I know are getting irritated with how much I'm recommending their videos. :D

i think they do that because to keep their wives anonymous or something. if you remember back to when link was showing his baby to us he asked his wife if she wanted to go on camera  and she said no, now maybe that was because she just had given birth and didn't feel like it or something (my knowledge on child birth is limited lol) but i reckon that they dont want people randomly going up to them in the streets saying 'heyy, you're rhetts/ links wife!' cos that would be weird. endearing  that!
