T'was The Night Before GMM: A Poem by EMc2

Happy Night Before GMM all!!!!
I wrote this for this special occasion!

T'was the night before GMM and all through the town,
not a creature was stirring, not even a clown(shark).
The laptop was placed on a table with care,
In hopes that a new upload soon would be there.

The Mythical beasts were nestled all snug in their beds,
while memories of the speech jammer danced their heads.
And Gumbo in his kerchief and I in my cap
had just settled our brains for a long summer's nap.

When out of my iPhone there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.
Away to my laptop I flew like a flash,
I headed to YouTube in a super fast dash.

And what to my wondering eyes should appear,
but a new episode of GMM, the first one of the year(season)!
With 2 funny hosts that make people think,
I knew in that moment, they were Rhett and Link!

(I could go on... but I might be stretching it a bit!)

I actually couldn't sleep the night before GMM (it was the 1st day back at school that day as well, so my brain was too busy) so I wrote this at like 2 in the morning. lol
