start off the new year right

he is my guide who holds my hand

i'm the child who doesn't always want help

i wonder away and he always comes after me

i get hurt but sometimes i don't think i need him

but when i decide to come back to him on the path, he always welcomes me with open arms

you are a flashlight in my dark life showing me the future one moment at a time

with each breath i take i embrase the future

so remember to start off the new year right, talk to the lord who made you and thank him for everything he has done. God will love you no matter how big of a sin you commit. :)
