Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

G'Day y'all

ok so if you didn't guess im from Australia and well im new here...*hi-five the 1st blog post* so before i continue there is a few things to help you understand my blog, anything in the little starry things are actions eg *hi-five for 1st blog* im actually hi-fiving myself, any thing in brackets eg (like this) is usually just a side note or random thought

so I've been reading other Mythical Beast blogs, more to the point of  people's first ones to see how i should start my 1st blog, and i found most start with How you Found Rhett and Link or GMM...there is even a blog with entries on how it all happened, i left a small entry there and so i decided i would go in to a but more here

(yay if your still reading)

i started watching Rhett and Link 4 years ago after they found their way on my youtube recommended list and i just fell in love with the concept of 2 best friends hosting their own show (i could relate, i tried to have a stage show with a good friend of mine...we failed ...several times) and i love that there is nothing out there like Rhett and Link, any who i tuned in when i could and caught up where i needed too, then i had met my partner and well, he wasnt in to it (god knows why not this show is amazing) so for 3 years i didnt watch (i felt weird like something big was missing) and then is Dec 14 he kicked me out , so i moved back to my home town and binge watched as much as i could, I'm a 24/7 carer so any down time is Mythical Time (my OCD got the better of me recently so i binge watched and i can officially say I've watched EVERY video to date) so the next step was to make the transformation to a Mythical Beast

and well...here I am, my Mythical Beast is a Billyo (not sure how to pronounce it i've been saying Billy-o or Bill-yo) the Billyo is an Australian Mythical Beast, it is classified as a Mountain Mythocreat (Mythology + Creature = Mythocreat) it is the cousin of the Unicorn species, it is one of the fastest mythocreats in Australia.

Not much is known about this regal creature because they never hang around long enough to be studied.

What is known is that they are nomadic mythocreats that sleep during the day and at night are very active, racing across the desert leaving a brilliant silver streak behind. Due to Treasure Hunters hunting Billyos for their horns of silver, this magical creature is now on the endangered mythocreat list - their herd numbers less than 300.

Once every month, when the moon is full, all the Billyos gather. Once all the herd is together, they race across the desert, going from one mountain range to another, playing follow the leader. This is known as the Billyo-Train and is one of the most amazing spectacles that can be witnessed in Australia’s magical kingdom

I like Stevie Wonder (and Jimmy Barnes (I got the reference). I'm from Australia too!
