Project C.H.I.B.I Chapter 1

I yawned as I got up from bed. I looked at my night stand wehre Rhett and Link was in sleep mode. No not the real Rhett and Link my small  robotic replicas of Rhett and Link that my dad gave me for my birthday.  Link woke up and yawned as he stretched his robotic limbs.

"Good mythical morning Victoria" Link said to me, his voice was slightly piched and robotic. He sat down on my shoulder as I headed for the huge dining room downstaris where I was certain I would see dad sitting by the table, reading "Scientist Monthly" while eating an omelette with bacon and a piece of buttered toast with a glass of orange juice.

But dad wasn't there..odd maybe he is in his lab early. I venture to the lab which C.H.I.B.I Link is scared of..heh a robot scared of the place he was created in. "Victoria I don't like this place it gives me the creeps" Link said. I rolled my eyes. "You and Rhett was created here. How can you be scared of your own birthplace" I said, looking for dad. C.H.I.B.I Link shrugged as he held onto a strand of my hair.

"Dad are you here?" I called out. No answer. I see his new journal I bought for him for father's day I open the first page and read . My eyes widened. "Dad  is missing" I said out loud. C.H.I.B.I Link looked at me. "Link go and get Rhett and fetch my bag...we're going out on a adventure I said. Link nodded and flew to my room.
