Participate in Link's 40th Birthday Project

Like we did for Rhett's 40th birthday, the Kommunity is organizing a birthday present for Link’s 40th birthday on June 1st. If you are able, please participate in any of the following ways.

1. Finish the sentence “I love Link because...”

There are many reasons to love Link, so think of your favorite one and let him know! Your reason will be compiled with the others into a physical book and sent to Link. A digital version of the book will also be publicly posted online.

2. Vote on the Top 40 Link Moments
Deadline: Passed (Thursday, May 24th, 2018, at 11:59 PM PST)

We’re looking to find the Top 40 Link Moments, so use the above Google form to submit a your favorite thing Link has done on video. After the deadline, you will be able to participate in a vote to narrow all submissions down to the top 40.

Please follow the instructions on the form by including the timecode at which your favorite Link moment occurs. If there is no timecode, your moment will be rejected.

3. Submit photos, videos, or letters you create

There’s nothing quite like a personal gift. Send an email containing your photos, videos, or letters wishing Link a happy birthday. Anything you personally created is perfect, but here are a few ideas.

• Draw something creative Link will enjoy. He surely would love, for example, a picture of him and Jade enjoying a bowl of cereal together.
• Film a video of yourself singing Happy Birthday to him. If you’re feeling extra ambitious, grab some friends or family members and get them to join in.
• Write Link a letter wishing him a happy birthday. If you’re at a loss for words, try writing about how Link inspires you to be your Mythical Best.

You will be publicly credited for your submission using your name unless you request to remain anonymous.
