right. I've had... I would say about a five year chunk out of my life where I haven't touched any of my paints, pencils, sketch pads, canvas's. not even those scissors that cut insane jagged lines. I spilt some PVA glue the other day. I don't think that counts. there wasn't any glitter near it. SO i have now vowed to dive (toes first) into art, because i miss it! The most artistic thing I've done in this time is change my hair colour several times. This is not good enough. I think this place is going to give me some inspiration!! but i need some help, im so stuck i dont know where to start!!!! have any of you hidden beasties had a long break from something you love to do?? then panic that when you get back into it your gunnna be poo? yes thats right. poo. all over the place.  let me know.......

You're welcome, Emily! I hope it helps! And good to know you're working on something!

I do have a floppy cat!!! :D the rag doll breed, Luna chew. She's like roadkill, you can  just walk into a room and find her splayed out on the floor in an awkward position, and if you rearrange her, she sees no problem with this. I think we have got something here....killer fashion. literally.  And I fear we have gone of subject......

oh my! no i didn't!  :D ..time to slap on my XXL shades and grab the nearest small pooch to stuff in my handbag :D failing that I'll get one of the cats. more nimble I think.

This is very true, I've just got to launch my self in and realise it won't be perfect straight away! Its hard as I also have no place to actually work, at the moment I'm hiding in the loft like a gremlin, :p but I'll get by! Thanks for the advice :D

I lose inspiration for writing a lot, to be honest. And I'll freak out about it because sometimes I write things that I love when other times my pen and my paper just don't get along.

As for what to do about it, I don't know. The best advice I can give you is this- remember why you love what you do so much. Remember how happy it makes you. Then, force yourself to do it. I mean, what I had to do was just go "You know what? There's a palm tree. I'm going to write about a freaking palm tree." So I did. Not my best work, but it got me writing again.
