MYTHICAL USA - -
have you seen one in your small town?
Rhett and Link officially confirmed on today's show [GMM #1372 ~ Hilarious Kid's Test Answers]
what was previously only alluded to in the latest edition of Mythical Monthly and bantered about the past several days in various social media posts.
Rhett - "Now, right out of the gate, we're issuing a very important heads-up . . .
so here it is:
HEADS UP!
In small towns all over America, we have put up brand new Mythical billboards!"
Link - "Yeah, that's right! So keep your eyes peeled for our billboards in a small town near you. And watch our socials for clues as to their locations, and then you can share your findings with the hashtag MythicalUSA."
If you spot one in your home town or anywhere along the highway, snap a pic & share it here also for fellow MBs to enjoy. A list of "clues" and corresponding locations will be gathered from your contributions and those posted or shared by the "official" Kommunity Facebook, Twitter and/or Tumblr pages.
From the Mythical Monthly clues (geographic coordinates) below, there are at least 43 out there to locate . . . my guess is maybe one somewhere in every state???
List and map updated daily until all are located:
Reported seen but no pics yet:

This one's a mobile bus ad! The person who posted it didn't originally reveal the town name, but I reached out and was given permission to repost the uncensored photo on the Kommunity account and cite the original source post here. @ Victoria - - Yeah, I got than earlier post on Rocky Mount this morning. I'm diligently updating searches on FaceBook and Twitter and Instagram, but not finding half the posts that you can locate, probably because they're not using the #MythicalUSA tag. That's why you're the mythical queen of MB social media.
Adding Perryville to the list now makes 37 pins in the map (w/ 2 in Cali) including the purported sighting in El Dorado, KS that still lacks photo evidence.
Here's photo evidence of the Rocky Mount, VA billboard: https://www.instagram.com/p/BnmHdRpAaim
I could've sworn I'd made note of this one already, but I guess I forgot to report it here!

re: Needles (according to Viki)
Proposals for secession
In 2008, claiming the county had been unwilling to help keep the city's troubled hospital open as a full-service medical facility, the city considered seceding from California and becoming part of neighboring Nevada, only a few miles away. The options of attaching itself to the state of Arizona or even forming a new county were also considered. Proposals to change states would require approval from the United States Congress and both state legislatures.
Regarding the billboard in Mobridge, SD -- according to the person who found it, although the board says Mobridge, it's actually physically located in Bowdle, SD. Bowdle is about 40 miles east of Mobridge and is another small town.
