We all dread a day of destruction, a day when we all lose friends and family, a day when bodies line the streets, a day called the Apocalypse. Unfortunately this unexpected day arrived to the great land of Equestria, an event that even the holders of the elements of harmony could not stop. This event killed millions of ponies, and there are few survivors. But there is one survivor, who is in search of how this happened for he does not remember what happened that fateful day in September. “Come on Flitter, we need to get going,” said a grey earth pony with a blue mane, “We’re wasting valuable time that could be used to find out what happened.”
“I know Tombstone, but we’re low on food and water and this is the only place with any,” replied a blue Pegasus with a purple mane, “And we can’t afford to wait till we get to the next town.”
“I know, I know, just hurry up and do it,” replied Tombstone with haste in his voice, “we can’t stay here for too long.”
Flittermay sighed, “Ok I’m going as fast as I can here.”
Flittermay finished gathering the needed supplies and put them into her bag. She then gave Tombstone a “let’s get going” look and then proceeded to the next town. “So Tombstone, where are we going next?” Flittermay asked.
“We’re headed for Ponyville, Flitter,” Tombstone quickly replied.
“P-Ponyville?!! W-why would you want to go there?” Flittermay exclaimed with shock.
“Ponyville is where it all started that fateful day in September,” Tombstone replied with a tone of sadness in his voice. “We might find some clues to what happened to everypony.”
It had been 4 months since the “Incident” happened that killed almost everypony in Equestria. No pony knows exactly what happened that day but one thing if for sure, it all started in Ponyville. There is a rumor told among the few survivors left, they say that a doctor in Ponyville was researching a cure for cutie pox just in case of another epidemic, but during his research he went insane and created a biological weapon that attacked a pony’s nerves system causing immediate death. But no pony knows if this true mostly because everypony in Ponyville died and if there were any survivors there has yet be one who has told anypony what happened that day.

“Tombstone it’s dangerous in Ponyville now,” Flittermay said with a look of worry on her face. “We have no idea what could be there, what if those rumors are true and there’s a deadly gas still there, we could both die.”
“I thought of that that’s why we’re not going straight to Ponyville,” Tombstone replied with a look of confidence.
“We’re not then where are we going?” Flittermay asked with a puzzled look on her face.
