Jahnii, by badges I mean the "Badge" thing at the almost top right of your screen, I meant to add "Customizable" badges

1) Kommunity app

You're right; there isn't a Rhett & Link-developed, official mobile app specifically for the Kommunity. However, this request has come up a lot, so here are a few resources:

• Here's a discussion with Beast-suggested workarounds for an app not existing, specifically this iPhone version.
• Here's a non-official Android app for multiple R&L areas, including the Kommunity. It looks like people are giving it good reviews.

2) Games

I had never even seen the apps page that Jahnii mentioned until now. Nice find! However, it's just another one of the many Ning (the company that provides the generic backend for the Kommunity) features that is defunct and not used.

3) Friend chat room

This would be useful! However, it again would need to be added by Ning. Brian Layman has been in charge of all the Ning details in the past, but there hasn't been a substantial update to the Kommunity's general user experience for years now.

4) Applications for K-Mod

The requirements for being a moderator include being of mature age, long-term Kommunity membership (at least one year), and demonstration of an active, good standing in the Kommunity. R&L/their team give the final approval on K-Mod appointment, and current K-Mods do not have the power to instate new moderators. If the staff wants to change or increase the moderation team, they will approach candidates they feel would make good moderators at that time. Given the nature of this process, there is no application for a moderation position other than continuing to be a good member of the Kommunity!

5) Getting badges

The current badge system involves placing an icon in the lower corner of a member's profile picture. The two current member classifications that give badges are "Featured" (yellow star icon) or "Winner" (blue ribbon icon). K-Mods or official R&L staff will occasionally "feature" a member who is active on the Kommunity, but there is no defined schedule for this. The "Winner" classification is for a member who has won an official Rhett & Link contest, like a music video contest. These contests aren't as common as they used to be, but if you have won something you feel should deserve a "Winner" badge, contact any of the K-Mods and we'll review it!
