Just a little poem, as I couldn't sleep.

Brother.

All these years, you've always been there,

we’ve seen each other through everything.

When times in our lives seemed so unfair,

I was grateful for the laughter you’d bring.

Since that day, when we made our pact,

as we promised that together we would stay.

I can still see the scar as a matter of fact. 

And I hope that it never fades away.

Through all the monumental moments in my life,

you’ve been right there with me, Bo.

You were there for the moment when my girl, became my wife,

our babies first birthdays, oh, how fast they grow.         

Our lives have changed and grown, as lives tend to do. 

Some say we’re older and wiser, but that doesn’t sound like us, does it?

We’ve made a lot of memories, some I’d only share with you.

Even if I could go back right now, I wouldn’t change a thing. Not one bit.

And I hope you’ll be there at the bitter end,

because you can make me laugh like no other.

For all my life you’ve been my best friend,

but more than that, you’ve been my brother.
