Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!
Hi. I'm Rob. I live in an apartment. I go to work each day, except the weekends. Currently, I have no roommates. At times, I've had friends live with me while they were sorting out difficulties. I do not have a pet. Though, a couple of years ago there was a neighborhood cat that would spend time with me. He would sleep inside. I gave him food. He wasn't my pet, though. We had an understanding. I knew he liked his space and he knew I was too neurotic to handle the stress of owning a pet. It was an awkward relationship. I find myself missing his company at times. I am not neurotic, though. It was just a period of time when nearly everything was overwhelming. Lately, I've been thinking of becoming a dog owner.
I joined this site because I enjoy the content provided by Rhett and Link and I wanted to see what the Kommunity was discussing. Apart from the entertainment provided by Rhett and Link, I think I just like to see a couple of buddies doing something that they like to do. It feels comfortable.
I have a facebook and youtube page. Those links are below. They are not updated very often. If you visit them, I would like to know your thoughts. The content that I post to my youtube page is experimental audio and music produced in my makeshift sound studio in my basement. I don't consider any of my posted content "finished." I consider it an online diary of my learning process. I've been trying to teach myself how to record music since around the year 2000. When I began, I knew nothing and now I know more. I do not want to make music for a living. It is a hobby. that when the inspiration is available, provides me with a good deal of meaningful satisfaction. It is also very fun for parties when everyone has a microphone and their own channel in Pro Tools. During these times, It has been affectionately dubbed, "The Noise Chamber."

When Tom Waits was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, he stated the following, "Songs are really just interesting things to do with the air." Let's keep it interesting.
