Buies Creek Stomping Grounds

Okay Beasts! This is my first post, but I have been lurking and making little comments here and there. I am going to NC for the Tour of Mythicality and was wondering what stops I should make. I want to see all the places that touched RandL's lives. I want to be on the same ground they were. I don't know when I'll make it back to North Carolina, so I want to make this count. Anyone know addresses or directions to places or have any suggestions on places I should go to. I feel like there are so many and my brain can't zero in on any specifics yet.

K-Mod Comment by Victoria (Centauromadoose) on May 28, 2017 at 8:48pm: Actually, in a Facebook livestream R&L did recently, they said that their book will have a hand-drawn map of the places they lived and met up with each other in the Buies Creek area -- that will be a great place for you to start! The book will be released in October, I believe, so as long as you get your hands on it before the tour reaches Durham, you'll be set. :)

In lieu of that, I actually drove briefly through Buies Creek on a trip late last year: http://rhettandlinkommunity.com/profiles/blogs/a-quick-visit-to-bui.... We basically just had time to stop at Buies Creek Elementary School, where Rhett and Link first met, and the Lillington town sign that R&L stood in front of for their Lillingtonians series.
