Home of Rhett & Link fans - the Mythical Beasts!

Been a while since I shamelessly self promoted...

Just wanted to let all my fellow Mythical Beasts out on the west coast know I will be in attendance at WonderCon in Anaheim California this weekend! This is my first convention appearance anywhere west in general and I am super excited about it! If you are anywhere near Anaheim and have the least bit of interest in comics, or meeting the one and only Ghost Chicken for that matter, do stop by the Anaheim Convention Center between March 16th and the 18th! I'll be at table AA163!

And y'all of course go read Wonder Weenies every Tuesday and Thursday at www.wonderweenies.com don'tcha? No? Well now is a great time to catch up on the archive as I am taking a small break! Or you can just go ogle the Wizard of Oz parody I will be running while I am out west.  Yes... I know it's up there already but dang it- you know you want it from the source. Or visit my Kommunity Page to see all kinds of R&L fan art I have done did. Keep on kommunicating, Mythical Beasts!

How about you California MB's?  Were any of you there?

And who else would drive out to Irving, TX and support Corey & Company (and chomp on some BBQ - - my treat)?

OK this time.  Looks like you would have to buy a ticket and attend as a regular citizen anyways since all exhibitor spots are completely sold out.  Still might be worth it to catch Adam West & Burt Ward in the "media guest" line up, among others.

The last Dallas 2-day show was the first at the Irving Center and sold over 11,000 tickets, but this is the first one "Presented by Stan Lee" so I am guessing that this upcoming event will top that.

I'm not really a big comic fan by any stretch of the imagination (except for Bloom County and Wonder Weenies, of course) but I would definitely show up to support a fellow Mythical Beast and maybe even bring you someTexas-style BBQ from  Sonny Bryan's Smokehouse.

Financially I can't afford another big trip until the fall... I will definitely get down your way as soon as I can Gumbo!

Oh absolutely... at the very least I will link to the Remedial Comics blog as my business partner plans on a lengthy entry chock full of pictures. One of these days we'll hit a con further south.

TRUE - TRUE . . .although if they still have the Rueben it was my favorite . . . even for breakfast.

Please don't forget to post up some WonderCon pics pics here when you have had time to catch your breath.

Der Wienerschnitzel? ? ? now there's a blast from the past!  Haven't thought about that place since way back in my college days, and then only at about 2:30 AM . . .

My only excuse for missing out on vicious dogs was how incrediby busy I was during my convention... I tried and wanted to, believe you me. The best I could manage was a DerWeinerSnitzel. Next time.
