At 9:54pm on January 8, 2010, Roger Crooks said…: I think I live in the best part of NC...but I love all of it. I have a brother-in-law and other family down your way. I just moved from Conover to Hickory. It's really about the same place. We had the first big snow in a long time a few weeks back. Our snowman is even still up. Both ponds behind the house are froze about 4 inches of ice. Pretty cool stuff. Rhett and Link are great. I have my grandmother and my parents over often and play their Youtube videos on the big screen, the laughter is unlike any other here. The Spanner commercials are the BEST. My dad about rolled off the couch laughing. They have tremendous talent and keep everything at least pg13 or under which we appreciate. Take care and come have some "real" BBQ up this way sometime!

My mother was a nursing student a Rex Hospital In Raleigh, and her best friend there was from Newton-Conover. I imagine you got a bit of snow up your way in the last few weeks. We thought we might see some, but maybe next time.
As I'm sure you've already discovered, Rhett and Link are pretty funny and very clever.
