Rising and Setting

Every day the sun sets beneath the horizon and leaves us to the night. As darkness creeps across the earth overtaking the light of day, the moon peeps around the corner and glimmers on the bay.
Vast is the night and never ending it may seem, All hope soon to be cast aside upon the pending day. Yet still we abide in a hope long abandoned until the dawn of a new day.
