i volunteer as flag bearer so he can concentrate on the guitar. this should be a moment of national pride, not confused fumbling.

The loose-fitting orange shirt and cargo shorts are part of the official winter sport uniform for the Republic of Cheesistan, where competitive lounging originated and remains their national pastime. The Cheestanians realize that the tight-fitting unisex lycra body suit that most competitors wear today is much more aerodynamic, but being the fundamentalists they are have chosen to stick with the traditional loungwear handed down by their fathers older third cousins.

Link is competing in the ONE-MAN EXTREME LOUNGING event, and will hurl himself downhill at speeds in excess of 75mph while comfortably relaxed in the custom made beanbag recliner built by Mercedes as shown below . . .

Rhett is Link's coach and mentor and is not required to dress in the national colors. He is however, expected, to fervently waive the Cheesistan flag and proudly sing out the national anthem (God Bless Our Cheddar) at the finish line, win or loose.
