It's hard to tell from that shot, but she is definitely a cute puppy.  The mottled coat and head shape remind me of the Catahoula Cur - - also known as a Leopard Dog due to the spotted coat - - which is most commonly found in Louisiana where the breed originated. Please post more of a profile shot so we can see the body / leg length dimensions.
