Judging by the patterns on his back and stomach, it's a male. At least what I can deduce from my Wikipedia knowledge...
The millimeter paper should give you an idea how big he is. He fits on my palm from the tip of my middle finger to the base of my wrist. He's got an injury ~2cm from the tip of his tail. I believe he got attacked by a bird.
