How has traveling impacted you personally or changed the way you view the world?

Growing up in an American family while living in the Philippines and attending school with people from all over the world definitely has impacted me! As I've rubbed shoulders with people from everywhere I've seen first hand how cultures can be different, whether it's rules about appropriate interactation between people or a person's conception of being "on time" or "late." I feel like I can more quickly understand people from any culture. I'm also able to explain a new culture to a person, helping them understand and adjust.
