Beginnings

So, I would love to know how you started becoming interested in photography... family? friend? Spontaneous circumstances?

I personally started being interested in photography when I explored art sites. I was always so jealous of those people who could pick up a paintbrush, a camera, or whatnot, and create beautiful and meaningful pieces of art work. And so I started to fool around with my little cheap digital camera. That's when I got really addicted to photography. :)

Hyperboles aside, here is a link to a really interesting blog dedicated to 19th century American photography. Some of the photos are wonderfully odd. I really like it. :D
