My town is a large slate distribution area and that's how it got the name Rockmart, but the cool thing is, slate from here has been used in London and the Golden Gate Bridge!

i have a good one... we ended up on the statewide news back in 2011 because a building caught fire, and it was next to two large tanks of gasoline that would've blown up the whole town if the fire spread to it. we had like 18 different fire departments from across the state fighting to put it out.

you know what i did? i just walked past it to get a 50 cent soda. it was a faygo. probably black cherry, cuz those are my favorite.

My town is in cork on the Cork Waterford border in Ireland and parts of the film Moby Dick were filmed here so there is a festival about it. There was a giant moby made and some Waterford fricker came and wrote 'up the déise' on it, that means up waterford. it's been like that for years, no ones washed it off yet, not even the atmosphere. Oh yeah, last paddy's day some teenager was chasing a kid with a knife and he got arrested lol. But that shizz happens all the time so it's kinda boring.
